Once a historic posting house along the Via Francigena pilgrim route, and known until 2024 as Albergo Posta Marcucci, La Posta today combines natural thermal waters, refined local Tuscan cuisine, and a slower pace of life. Part of the Casa Costa 1956 family group, alongside Hotel La Perla and Berghotel Ladinia (Corvara) and Bio Alpine Hotel Gran Fodà (San Vigilio di Marebbe). La Posta is located in Bagno Vignoni, a historic spa village where the main square is itself a pool of thermal water, fed by natural springs at 49°C known since Roman times. The waters, rich in calcium, iron and zinc, are known for their benefits to the respiratory system, joints, and skin. The hotel has 35-37 rooms, is family-run, adults only, with three thermal pools at differentiated temperatures set in the garden, overlooking the Rocca d'Orcia.
